Humane Society of Bexar County - Every year, the Humane Society/SPCA of Bexar County shelters, medically treats, and rehabilitates over 5,000 animals that have been injured, abused, surrendered, or found as strays until ready for adoption.
The Animal Defense League of Texas - The ADL provides basic shelter and care for pets and seeks loving homes for all pets.
Heart of Texas Lab Rescue - A non-profit group dedicated to rescuing Labrador Retrievers from shelters, pounds, abandonment, and other situations, and placing them in loving, caring homes. The HOT Lab Rescue serves Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas.
SNIPSA - Spay-Neuter-Inject-Protect of San Antonio, Inc., a non-profit rescue organization that provides medical care and loving homes for rescued pets.
